If the freezer is cold and the fridge is hot, logic would indicate that the fan blowing the cold air from the freezer into the refrigerator is not working. Searched the ApplicancePartsPros.com website for a fan in the freezer compartment and found the video on how to replace one.
Followed the steps in the video to get the freezer partially disassembled and found the whole back of the freezer frozen over. Plugged the refrigerator back in and verified that the fan was not working.

I bought the listed condenser fan motor for my Maytag refrigerator. Access to the condenser fan is by removing sheet metal screws of bottom panel with 1/4 in. nut driver. Condenser fan is on left side of rear access area. Remove electrical connector by pressing-in connector release tab with thumb fingernail and pulling on connector. Although I only needed to replace the drawer support (end cap) on the right side the kit comes with replacements for both sides. I was surprised to see that the air flow adjustment mechanism that is located on the right side end cap was not included. I bought new gaskets, which were expensive! At least the repair was easy. Pulled out the old ones, pressed in the new ones. Had to redo them because I didn't notice the little flaps that need to be covering the space in the middle, between the doors. So, pulled them off, and turned them around, and pressed them on again.
