Symptoms of a bad screw may include loose or wobbly parts, rattling noises during operation, or difficulty in keeping components securely attached. This OEM Whirlpool part can also be used on Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore/Sears brand appliances.

- Safety issues arise requiring manual lighting with matches or lighters
- Difficulties baking or broiling without consistent flame generation
- Element replacement prevents further problems and safety hazards
This is a genuine Whirlpool OEM replacement this part is also compatible with Maytag, Jenn-Air and some Kenmore models.
This part fixes the following symptoms

The Leveling Leg is an OEM part for Whirlpool ranges. It's designed to ensure your range is perfectly balanced and stable on uneven floors. By adjusting the height of the leveling legs, you can prevent wobbling and ensure that your cooking surface is perfectly horizontal, which is critical for even cooking and baking.
Causes of a malfunctioning Leveling Leg can stem from physical impact damage, corrosion in humid conditions affecting integrity and adjustability, and wear over time, particularly if frequently adjusted or cleaned aggressively.
Symptoms of a bad Leveling Leg include:
- The range tilts or wobbles, making cooking uneven.
- Difficulty sliding pots and pans across the cooking surface due to the appliance not being level.
- Increased strain on other components of the range, which could lead to premature wear or failure.
This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper and some Kenmore models.

Replaced broken oven door handle Peter R. • Baltimore , MD • January 25, 2015
Overall the fix wasn't too hard. The challenge was putting the oven door back together and holding it together while trying to tighten the screws. Enlisted my wife's help to hold the door and at first the handle screws wouldn't tighten. My cordless screwdriver's battery was under-charged. Once I switched batteries I was able to tighten the screws. Seemed like I needed to push too hard (my wife freaked "not so hard you will strip them!") however pushing hard was what was needed. Both screws...

I knew the door latch was suppose to lock for self clean and it wasn't, so I took the back off and after tracing out wires and the linkage to the door latch, determined that it was a faulty motor on the latch lock. I got on line and Appliance Parts Pros was the first place that I found the part. The oven door would not close completely William R. • Emporia , KS • July 27, 2016
This oven was a Kenmore model #66595822003. I replaced both spring hinges. This oven was a white oven so it took the MFG# WP8053807 hinge (order two of them). They are the same hinge. No left or right. To get the door off the oven, open the door all the way open, I installed pins (preferably only 1/4" long) in the holes of both hinges. Then remove the spring steel retainers above old hinges in the oven frame. These holds hinges in place. Now close the door until hinge stops on pins. Lift up...

This surface burner valve regulates gas flow to a top burner on your gas range or cooktop. The simmer version enhances low-heat control so the flame adjusts smoothly from a steady simmer to a full boil. What it does:
- Regulates gas to the surface burner as you turn the knob, controlling flame size
- Simmer variant improves stable low-flame performance at lower settings
- Common failure symptoms: burner won't light though the igniter sparks, flame won't adjust or stays at one level
- Knob feels stiff/binds or the stem no longer aligns correctly with settings
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect electrical power and shut off the gas supply before servicing
- Remove the control knob and access the valve/manifold from the control panel or cooktop top
- Note the original valve's orientation for your burner position; transfer mounting hardware as needed and tighten all gas connections securely
- After reassembly, restore gas and check every joint for leaks with an approved leak-detection solution; verify proper flame and adjustment

I searched on your website for a replacement stem. Unfortunately the stem is not sold separately. I purchased the entire valve after confirming with your online rep that I was ordering the correct part. I received the valve in 2 days removed the stem and inserted it directly into the existing burner valve. Perfect fit easy installation and burner works as it should. Simply repair and I probably saved $100 by not calling a repair tech to come to my home.
