Warm refridgerator/freezer compressor hot not running Rick O. • Milwaukee , WI • May 09, 2015
Removed lower rear cover, compressor was very hot. This is usually a capacitor issue, but the schematic on the back of the unit shows a start/ run relay. For the low cost, I replaced both. parts were delivered in 2 days.
The start/ run relay is mounted directly to the compressor. It slides on/ off with a little bit of prying. No fasteners.
The start capacitor is inside a white plastic housing on the lower right corner of the unit. Phillips screwdriver is all you need to complete the job.

Samsung refrigerator not cooling (freezer was working fine) Michael M. • Ennis , TX • January 30, 2017
Reviewed AppliancePartsPros.com troubleshooting and videos online and determined the Evaporator heater section was not defrosting coil. Replaced the Evap. Heater and Temp Sensors and while I had this apart, I changed the evap. fan motor as a preventive measure while I had this section of the refrigerator apart.
YouTube Videos allowed this to be a very simple repair and the refrigerator is as good as new.

The freezer temperature was fine but the refrigerator temperature would not drop below 50. Seetharaman K. • Reminderville , OH • March 10, 2020
Because the Fan Motor on the Fridge side was not working originally, the Evaporator coil would freeze up AND the water dispenser would freeze up as well.
Based on what I found on the internet, I ordered the Temperature Sensor and Thermal Fuse first with AppliancePartsPros.com and replaced them. Even after that, it was the same symptom with the fridge temperature.
Had a technician come in to diagnose that the problem is with the Motor Fan. Replaced the Motor on the Fridge side(DA31 00002S)...

The ice tray would not operate properly because the ice maker support was broken. I found the support I needed on Appliance Parts Pros site, then I watched their video on how to remove the support / ice tray from the fridge. Following the video I replaced the support and ice tray then put the assembly back into the fridge and "wallah" started making ice. Thanks to Appliance Parts, I successfully completed the repair and saved a bundle of money. All made possible by their concise video.
