When I opened the rear cover and check the temperature sensor, I noticed the wire connection was damp. I dried it up with a hair dryer and it worked again for a few days. Then the problem came back. When I gone back to inspect the second time, i noticed a lot of water on the floor. I knew there was a leak. Replacing the upper nozzle connector did the trick. I could not see damage in the older upper nozzle, it is possible that I could have fixed this just by tightening the parts - but i am happy I purchased both the upper nozzle and check valve ball, it feels good to have installed brand new parts in the washer. The start button had been tricky to use. You had to push it in just a certain way to get the dryer to start. Eventually it was non-responsive. All other controls worked and there was no error code displayed. The repair was to replace the whole control board which cost around $100. Heavy sigh.. Be sure to keep track of all your screws. For Samsung Washing clothes machine WA50F9A7DSP/A2 The large (about 1 inch) nut at the bottom of the tub that holds the tub onto the clutch/motor is NOT Appliance Parts Pros 6021-001573, described as NUT-HEXAGON M26 OD44 ZNDC1. This nut has a 24 mm internal diameter. It is marked ZNDC-1 MT26 70H on top of the nut and is left hand or reverse thread. It is slightly too small to thread onto the clutch shaft. After receiving the part, I found I had to dismantle the left side of the handle in order to fix the right side that was broken. When I took the left side of the handle off I found the plastic piece that broke on the right side was about to break on the left side also. Having all the details and in advance of another broken handle, I ordered the part, just to have when it breaks. Read more
