This wire harness assembly is an authentic replacement for chainsaws. It is supplied from the manufacturer. The wire harness assembly connects to the ignition module. It is made of two wires. One of the wires carries the power from the coil to the switch, while the other wire attaches to the engine ground on one side and has a switch contact on the other side. I replaced the ignition module and flywheel. While I had it open, I also replaced the hub starter which was a cause of the pull starter slipping a bit. The flywheel is "pressed" on, but there are numerous videos on the internet on how to quickly and safely remove it using simple hand tools and likewise, how to adjust the clearance between the module and the flywheel.
