If the starter rope is not reacting or the flywheel is not engaging, there may be an issue with the starter pulley assembly. This repair can be completed with a screwdriver and pliers and doesn’t take a lot of time. This kit includes the plastic pulley, return spring, hub, and two screws for securing the unit. The housing, rope, and starter grip will be sold separately if replacements are needed.
