For Bosch Dishwasher Control Board (Part Number: OEM13304226)

Hi Dan. First get a thermometer to check the incoming water at the unit while filling it. It needs to be at least 120° or better. What is the water temperature (HOT) in the sink.? It has to at least be 120 degrees or it will hang up and try to use the heating element to raise the temperature to at least 145 degrees before it allows the timer to advance. Is the Heating element still getting 120vac to it? Is there a wire off? Is the tub thermostat open or a wire off (should be closed)? I would use a volt/ohm meter part # MA-DM1 to assist. you in your diagnosis. Thank You.

Hello Bill. If a solder joint has burned it was either caused by excessive current flow from a shorted component or just a weak solder connection. I would check from ground to each of the wires that connect to the board and insure I had no complete circuits directly to ground, (less than about 5 ohms to ground would be a short). If you find this, follow that circuit to the source of the problem. If not, the control solder connection just failed due to electrical stress and replacing the board should take care of it. Sure hope this helps you out!

Hello Rick. Based on the information, it sounds like the control board 00676960 is bad and will need to be replaced. Check and make sure the heater is good in the unit. If not, it will cause this problem as well. If the heater is working, then it is OK. Hope this helps.

Hi Richard. The Control unit is part # 00676960. It is rare but anything man made can be bad when new. Thats partly why we have a 1-yr. return policy. Some places will give a substitution # that can do the exact same job that was used on a slightly different model. Thank you.
