Dave September 13, 2019 for Model Number 630.16304401 When filling, water is coming out of the air gap (water inlet system) "weep hole". Air gap basically is overfilling. I was thinking it must be the float assembly. That's where the water goes too. Could it be something else?
1 Answer Hello Dave, The problem described is caused by a water inlet valve that is not opening fully. You will need to replace the water valve 00425458 to correct this issue. Read More...
Pete May 02, 2018 for Model Number SHX468A05VC-14 Washer doesn't completely drain, and the amount left in the pan varies. When I activate the drain cycle solely, it will completely drain. Once after the washer pan was empty and dry, and without running the washer, the pan refilled and overflowed the water onto the floor. Could this be the solenoid valve?
1 Answer Hello Pete. Yes, the valve will cause the unit to overfill if the valve is bad and leaking when not using it. Thank you. Read More...
Jay February 15, 2017 for Model Number shy56a05 uc/23 Dishwasher fill with water, runs (and water gets hot), drains like normal. Then, however, water will not fill again for 30-45 min. Once it fills back up, wash runs through next drain like normal. On next fill, I have to wait again. This happens between every drain/fill during the wash cycle. Could it be water level switch? Any ideas? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Jay. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control module 00431692 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...

Muli May 02, 2015 for Model Number bosch sgs3002/13 My question is about the bosch-level-switch-assembly-263185. What does the small blue switch on device do? What happens if I pull it while installing or do I need to pull it? Is it part of the device settings?
1 Answer Muli, You would not pull the blue level. This is what turns the switch on and off. When the water level gets to certain spots it will slide to come off the switch to let the unit know it is full. Read More...

Michael July 01, 2014 for Model Number SHE55M15UC/64 The wash cycles work fine and water pumps out during wash cycles. Water does not drain after the wash so I pulled the unit and checked the water inlet system and all was clear. When I lift the red float switch actuator, the pump works fine and the tub drains. Does this mean I should replace the float switch (part #00165256 ) or would that be the level switch assembly (part #00263185). Thanks!
1 Answer Michael, With the unit leaving water in it after a cycle is complete then you will want to check to make sure that the control board is sending power to the drain pump during the final drain. If it is not then the control board would be the issue even though it works throughout the wash. Read More...

1 Answer Hello Michael, If the circulation pump never kicks on you should check the flood switch but this sounds more like either a bad motor 00442548 or a bad control 00676963. Read More...
Chris October 24, 2013 for Model Number SHX45P05UC/60 Dishwasher has left water in the basin approx 4 times last 6 runs. Removed strainer / filter nothing clear nothing blocking impeller no debris. Suspect float switch but when basin is full after running I can restart a wash cycle and it will discharge ~half the fluid. Almost like the final drain cycle is not instructed to complete?
1 Answer Hello Chris. Check and see if the drain hose is clogged. If not, it sounds like the drain pump is failing and will need to be replaced. Read More...
Dug September 01, 2013 for Model Number SHX46A Dishes are not clean and have a white film over them. there is still about 3" of water that is left down in the filter area when the cycles are complete.
