Chad October 04, 2013 for Model Number frigidaire affinity model FAFW301LW3 I can choose different wash cyles and the time amount will change on the lcd screen. However, when I try to start it, it locks the door and all four lights come on for a second, like its trying to sense the load, then the sensing light goes out and the machine sits their idle and will do nothing. There is a faint humming noise from the lower right of the machine. When I run a diagnostic test, I get an error code that states E6E. I have checked and cleaned the pump filter to no avail. HELP PLEASE!!!!
1 Answer Hello Chad. Make sure the board is not failing. If there is power to it and no lights, the board will need to be replaced on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Harvie September 23, 2013 for Model Number LTF2940FE The washer get's to the drain/spin cycle and does not drain or go into balance distribution or spin cycle? There are no error codes, it just sit there in that state with the water still in the machine.

Jeff September 21, 2013 for Model Number GLTF2940FE2 I just started getting an error code on my fridgidaire washer machine. The code is E90 and Fridgidaire themselves have no idea what that error code is. After doing some research it appears to be an issue with the main control board. I'd rather not spend 130+ bucks just to see if that works. I've reseated all connectors on the board itself but just wanted to see if there was a more sure answer to the E90 error before spending the money. Thanks for your help!

Murray September 19, 2013 for Model Number gltf2940eso My washer starts to fill for a few seconds, stops for 30 seconds , starts to fill again for a few seconds ,on and on. It does the same for drain pump, drains normally for a few seconds then stops for 30 seconds then starts for a few more seconds. I checked the voltage to the pump and there is power for a few seconds then no power, then power again for a few seconds. Do you think it's the main control board that's the problem? Thanks

Jim August 16, 2013 for Model Number gltf2940fs Hello and thank you in advance. My elderly parents have a Frigidaire GLTF2940FS front load wash machine that is possessed by unseen demons. Over the past 4 years it has given almost any and every error code (most frequently one involving an open door or four lick issue - which we thought we solved by having a certified tech install a new door lock or switch). At any rate, we keep the machine unplugged as it turns on and beeps on its own at any given time. It frequently is unable to finish a lead as it will freeze or lock up. I am assuming this is a control board issue - but which board. I am given to understand that there are TWO control boards on the machine; one is "control board" AP3891780 (or 134743500) and the othe other is referred to as "main control board" part number AP4358809 (or 137006000). ID like to order asap but which board most closely fits the issues I've outlined? I'm a disabled vet and they are elderly so we are limited to fixing as opposed to buying new....

1 Answer Ross, The E10 error code indicates that the fill time is too long. You will want to check the water flow coming into the unit to see if it is normal. Check the to make sure that the screens on the water inlet valve are not clogged. If clogged then clear. If the water flow while filling is normal then you will want to check the pressure switch to make sure that it is good and check the pressure hose to make sure that it is not clogged or kinked. The machine runs for about 2 seconds in each diagnostic mode and then shows the above error code. The washer won't work but the timer will count down in a wash cycle, but not accurately (very slow), and stops at one minute and won't unlock the door until you hit pause/cancel. Is this the control board or the motor (speed) control board or both?
