1 Answer Hi. Are you seeing any fault codes? It will be advantageous to find the supplied tech sheet inside the cabinet to aid you in the diagnosis. It allows you to put the unit in a diagnostic mode which brings up fault codes and tells you which circuit needs assistance. Use a volt/ohm meter part # MA-DM1 to assist you in your diagnostics. If you no longer see the door lock light then replace the door latch part # 131763256. Then it will allow spin. Make sure the pump part # 137221600 is not clogged or the impeller spinning loose on the pump shaft. Make sure the dispenser drawer is closed. Brian Fowkes December 19, 2011 for Model Number FAFW3511KRO This stackable unit's washing machine will not run the spin cycle. All other aspect of it's operations appear to function normally. The water does does drain and the drum will not spin. Does this indicate the control board has malfuntioned? Or are there other possibilities?
1 Answer Brian, There are other possibilities, The washer tub must drain and the water level switch, must reset to "empty" in order for the washer to spin. You'll need to disconnect the air hose from the water level switch and blow in it to make sure it's not twisted, kinked or clogged.
