Jason March 20, 2020 for Model Number FGGF3054MFF While cooking the range made a loud Pop which did trip the circuit breaker, at reset the range instantly made another audible Pop. I reset the breaker again but the display was dead, the ignitors no longer work either. There is not "visible damage" I can see to the controller. Is it a safe bet it's the controller unit or should I investigate further?
1 Answer Jason, I would unplug the unit and pull it out, remove the back panel and check to make sure there is not a bare wire that has shorted against metal somewhere on the back. If everything looks good, I would replace the control, part number is 316560118 Read More...

Kaisersosa July 29, 2017 for Model Number FGGF3058RF The broiler on our Frigidaire Stove (FGGF3058RF) comes on but when you hit cancel to shut it off it stays on. We found it you click bake or quick bake after using the boiler and then cancel that the stove will turn off, otherwise, the top boiler stays on. No error codes and the cancel button indicates everything is off but the boiler continues to burn. Is this a board issue or something else? Thank you!

1 Answer Hello Robert. You will need to test for power to the control board. If there is power there and the board does not work, you will need to replace the control board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Joe G November 10, 2016 Regarding F11 err message when replacing the oven control unit, how does one handle replacing the touch screen. Do you use old one, if so how do u remove it
1 Answer Joe, It's best and easiest to replace the overkay(touch screen), it can be removed and transferred to the new control, but it usually doesn't "look" very good if you do. But, You can use a blow dryer and warm/heat the overlay, then carefully and slowly "roll" the overlay off the control. Apply it to the new control while it is still hot, press and squeegee out the air bubbles and wrinkles, install the control, restore power and test the range operation. Read More...
