For Frigidaire Refrigerator Dispenser Switch (Part Number: OEM20662020)

Tom, if the water will still slowly dispense a little bit after pulling the actuator out, the failure would likely either be with an old filter WF3CB or a valve 242252702 not closing properly.

William, You will want to test to see if there is power getting to the dispenser auger motor. If there is but the motor is not turning then the motor is faulty and would need to be replaced. If there is no power to it then the issue will be a faulty dispenser control board.

Hello Mike, the model number you've supplied refers to a dryer. Please check the model number again and repost but if this unit has a switch you might want to test it. Hope this helps!

Tim, Without the model, I am not absolutely sure it is wired but the majority of these units have the microswitch that closes and lets power run thru the ice and water control board to the auger or water valve. The microswitch itself can be tested with a multimeter for continuity when the little button on top is pressed in it should read closed or beep if you have that option on your meter.

Roberto, if the unit is not dispensing ice unless power is disconnected for an hour or so, then you may more than likely be looking at a dispenser control issue [241708309]. For the fill line to thaw enough to allow for ice production the unit would have to be off with the door open for a few hours or by manually warming the section. If the icemaker is not going into a harvest mode and not calling for water, then you may have an icemaker issue [241798231].

Matt, you will want to check the wiring coming out of the door to the cabin for any bare wire. If there is bare wire and it rubs against a voltage supply, it can cause intermittent operation of components that were not engaged. Another thing you will want to test for is the ice dispenser paddle. It should not wiggle around and easily engage the switch behind it without some pressure applied. If the paddle is loose and easily engages the switch without pressure applied, you would want to change out the ice paddle 241682303.

Hello Hoa. You will need to replace the control board 241973711 and check for a bad door switch if the motor continues to run with the door open. The switch breaks the neutral to the motor. Now the valve could continue to run due to a bad water valve stuck open and not closing off the water in the unit. Thank you.
