Carey May 10, 2013 for Model Number WJSR2070B2WW Washer goes thru cycle OK. While this is going on, water keeps running into the tub. The tub overfills and spills over. I can shut the water off and restart the mashine. This works for a short time. Then the same thing happens. How do I fix it?
1 Answer Hello Carey. If you can stop the water from entering the machine by turning off the timer or unplugging the unit, you will need to look for a bad pressure hose or replace the pressure switch. If the only way to shut off the water is at the shut off for the water hoses, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit. Read More...

Tiff April 03, 2013 I have a GE model # WBB2090F1WW. The washer agitated fine but most time will not start the spinning circle but still drained the water. Any help on what to do and parts # to replace will be appreciated.
1 Answer Tiff, When the unit is supposed to go into the spin cycle you would want to check for power to the motor to make sure that the timer is sending power to the motor. If you do not have 120 vac to the motor then either the timer is faulty or the wiring but would most likely be the timer. If there is power to the motor but it is not running then you would need to check the windings to make sure that they are not bad and check to see if the brake is releasing in transmission. If the brake does not release then the unit will not spin. Read More...
Tj March 28, 2013 for Model Number wbse2090A0WW I need to replace the clutch on my washer, but I also need to replace the pin that sits in the shaft of the washer motor. It is the piece that the motor uses to turn the clutch around, with the motor shaft. I do not plan on replacing the whole motor for this one little piece. But I can't find a part name/number for it.
1 Answer TJ, the manufacturer only offers the pin with the motor and clutch kit WH49X10035. Sorry about that! Read More...
Dani March 16, 2013 for Model Number GTWN4950L0WS My washer was overloaded and then spun out of control. Then it just stopped. It will not reset or start a new cycle. All the lights will turn on, but the washer will not do anything. I have tried to reset the motor by unplugging it and closing and opening lid six times, this is not working. Also the motor is flashing in one second intervals. PLEASE HELP!
1 Answer Dani, You will want to check voltage on the inverter board of the motor for 120 vac. If you do not have 120 vac then the in line fuse in the wiring harness is bad and will have to be replaced. You need to check Connector C2 pins 3 and 5. IF there is no voltage then follow white/red wire up from pin 3 and you will find the thermal fuse approximately 1/2 way up tub in the harness. You will have to cut out and replace the fuse WH49X10055. Read More...
Roy February 22, 2013 for Model Number WCRD205OF3WC My washer leaks water from the bottom when draining. Since I don't know how to open up the washer from the front, I tilted the washer over, and opened the bottom cover and checked, but I could not tell where it was leaking from. Should I just replace the pump and the hose from the tub to the pump?
1 Answer Hello Roy. No, you need to release the clips in the top using a flat bade and remove the front panel. Then run the washer and look for the leak. It could be a bad flood gasket on the unit. Read More...
Anthony P February 16, 2013 for Model Number wjsr4160d5ww I have a ge washer model wjsr4160d5ww. At the end of the cycle it does not completly empty. This is at the rinse cycle nothing clogged anywhere. It just seems that the pump does not run at that part of the cycle.
1 Answer Hello Anthony, You will want to check the pump for obstructions but also you want to check the vanes of the impeller to make sure that they are not damaged. If there are damaged vanes it would cause unit to not drain properly. If this is the case then you would want to replace pump. Read More...
