Tiff I have a GE model # WBB2090F1WW. The washer agitated fine but most time will not start the spinning circle but still drained the water. Any help on what to do and parts # to replace will be appreciated.
Answer Tiff, When the unit is supposed to go into the spin cycle you would want to check for power to the motor to make sure that the timer is sending power to the motor. If you do not have 120 vac to the motor then either the timer is faulty or the wiring but would most likely be the timer. If there is power to the motor but it is not running then you would need to check the windings to make sure that they are not bad and check to see if the brake is releasing in transmission. If the brake does not release then the unit will not spin. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, April 4, 2013
