Christopher November 15, 2016 I just replaced the GE dryer timer, model number WE4M533 with the new knob. All the wires are connected correctly and it will not start. Please help. Thanks.
1 Answer Christopher, You will want to check the door switch to make sure that it is not bad and the thermal fuse on the unit. If these check ok then check the start switch. Read More...
Shawn October 29, 2016 for Model Number TMD1EM03 Hi there, I need to replace my dryer timer. Model # is TMD1EM03, motor is DM101, 115VAC/60Hz, It is a norm pacific. I am looking for something very similar if not the same. I keep seeing the WE4M533 keep coming up and was wondering if this will do? Thank you any help is appreciated. :)
1 Answer Hello Shawn. The model number will have to be verified on the units I.D. tag since the one listed came up invalid. This will be necessary to look up and specific parts such as the one you requested. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. We will need your model number to help you with this. Please call 1-877-477-7278 or post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx Read More...

Ashley October 11, 2016 for Model Number DBXR463EG3WW I need to replace the timer on my dryer and want to make sure I get the correct one for this model. Can you please let me know the correct part to get to replace the timer. Thank you.
Wendy October 06, 2016 for Model Number DHDSR46EG1WW When our control knob cracked, we started using pliers to turn the knob itself. We replaced the control knob too late I guess. We inadvertently wore the knob down so it no longer had a flat side for the knob to catch. Is there a replacement knob to jam in there, or do we have to pull out the entire timer in order to get a new knob? It's basically down to a nub now and it's getting pretty dicey trying to grab that with pliers. :)
1 Answer Wendy, You'll need to replace the timer WE4M533, there is no knob " to jam in there". The timer shaft is damaged and not repairable. The correct timer knob for the model number you supplied is WE1M654, you may want to order and install both parts. Both parts are in stock and available at this time. Thanks, Read More...
Harry September 13, 2016 for Model Number GTDP200EF1WS Hi! I need to replace the timer on my GTDP200EF1WS dryer and GE's website says that the timer for that model is the WE4M55. However, I can't seem to locate my dryer's model number on your website, and your compatibility checker says that the WE4M55 isn't compatible with the model number. Could it be that your database is simply missing this model number and its compatibility info, or might there be another reason that this timer won't work with my dryer? Thanks for your help, Harry
1 Answer Hello Harry. Yes, the model is not listed in the data base. You will need to order WE4M533 for the correct timer. Read More...
Travis G September 09, 2016 for Model Number GTDP301EL1WS When I press the start button it comes on but as soon as I release button it will go off. I taped the button down and it ran and shut off like it suppose to so that tells me the timer is turning, but wanna make sure i get the right part. Can you help me?
1 Answer Travis, With the motor stopping when you release the start switch, this would be caused by a bad centrifugal switch on the motor and you would need to replace the motor for this issue. The part number for the motor will be WE17X22217 Read More...

Brian August 22, 2016 for Model Number Gtdp180edoww This dryer starts and runs however it stops after a period of time normally 10 min or so even with timer set for 60 min. Could there be another reason other than the timer I should be checking? Air flow is good, however I'm concerned that possibly there is something in the circuit that interrupts power such as a thermal li,it. If so wouldn't this be a manual reset? Your help would be appreciated. Than, you
1 Answer Brian, With the unit shutting down after 10 minutes on any cycle then it sounds like it would be an issue of a possible motor overheating issue. Would want to check the glides and bearing to ensure that it is not causing the motor to drag and cause it to overheat. If these check ok then the motor would most likely be the cause of this issue.
