Sal November 15, 2011 for Model Number KUDS01FLSS6 KitchenAid Good Morning. Here's my problem. The "start" button doesn't seem to engage. There is power to the control panel. All buttons light up when pressed. The cancel button works. When "start" is pressed, nothing happens. The plastic "skin" over the start button had been worn away over time so that the actual plastic button underneath is exposed but it still worked until yesterday. Any advice on which part I need to get it running as well as how to access it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

1 Answer Hello Ben. You will need to check and make sure the door latch switches are working properly. If not, they can cause the machine not to start. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
