For Whirlpool Dishwasher Control Panel (Part Number: OEM17884719)

Sal for Model Number KUDS01FLSS6 KitchenAid

Good Morning. Here's my problem. The "start" button doesn't seem to engage. There is power to the control panel. All buttons light up when pressed. The cancel button works. When "start" is pressed, nothing happens. The plastic "skin" over the start button had been worn away over time so that the actual plastic button underneath is exposed but it still worked until yesterday. Any advice on which part I need to get it running as well as how to access it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello Sal. Check and make sure the door switches are working properly. If so, it sounds like the control panel W10775980 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps.

Hello Ben, we would recommend that you begin with the user interface WP8270168. This is the part that registers when you enter a cycle. Thanks!

Hello Ben. If the control board has power and some of the buttons on the control panel works, and some don't, you will need to replace the user interface WP8270168 and the ribbon cable WP8524447. Hope this helps.
