Ron R September 08, 2014 for Model Number WM2077CW This machine has no power and no lights, connection to A/C power is good, I checked for an led lit on the rear panel, nothing, I pulled the filter , but cannot see a fuse, also pulled the main control panel, again no fuse..am I missing something??
1 Answer Ron, You will want to test the filter and check for 120 vac into the filter and coming out of the filter. If there is power into it but not out then the filter is faulty and would need to be replaced. If there is power then check at the main control board for 120 vac. If there is power then the main control board would be the issue. Read More...
Will September 04, 2014 for Model Number wm2455hg On normal cycle and sanitary I get LE code. If I wash on speed wash and set the soil level to the highest setting no problems.
1 Answer Will, The LE error code is a locked motor error. You will want to check the following in regards to it. ?• The connector (3-pin, male, white) in the MOTOR HARNESS is not connected to the connector (3-pin, female, white) of STATOR ASSEMBLY. • The electric contact between the connectors (3-pin, male, white) in the MOTOR HARNESS and 4-pin, female, white connector in the MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY is bad or unstable. • The MOTOR HARNESS between the STATOR ASSEMBLY and MAIN PWB ASSEMBLY is cut (open circuited). • The hall sensor is out of order/defective. Belleview House July 24, 2014 for Model Number WM3987HW My LG front loading combo model #WM3987H stopped working - there is no power. I had someone check it and it looks like part of the filter assembly melted from overheating. Is this part the correct replacement part for this model?
Jim R July 12, 2014 for Model Number 40441900 I have a Kenmore front load washer that has no power. Sears repair technician said it was the main board. I replaced the main board and still nothing. I was thinking about changing the power cord and/or electronic control board # EBR62280702 to see if that was the problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated
1 Answer Jim, You will want to do a voltage test. Where the power cord comes into the unit there will be a filter board. You will want to check to see if there is 120 vac where the power cord connects to this board. If there is 120 vac then the power cord is good and the power supply is good. you will then want to check to see if there is 120 vac on the other side of this board. If there is then the filter board is good and if not then the filter board is faulty and would need to be replaced. If there is power at the filter board then check the main control board to make sure that it is getting power. If so then the Display board is most likely the cause of failure since the control board has already been replaced. Read More...
Tom May 28, 2014 for Model Number LG LDS 5811ww I have an LG LDS 5811ww. It stopped half way thru a cycle and now has no power(no lights at all) I check the 120v connection, circuit breaker, and fuse on the circuit board. All OK. I have been reading a lot about the noise filter going bad. Is there any other fuse I can check? Any thing else I can check?
1 Answer Tom, To test the noise filter you will want to check voltage going to the filter. Check for 120 vac going into the filter and 120 vac coming out of the filter. If there is 120 vac into the filter but nothing coming out then the issue would be a faulty filter which would need to be replaced. The part number for the filter on your unit is 6201EC1006T. Ben K May 21, 2014 for Model Number LG washer Mod.WM2077CW sn.:506KW00240 Got error code OE (clean filter) at rinse cycle. Cleaned filter and restarted new cycle. Machine filled but only buzzed and would not start revolving. The drum turns freely by hand and makes no bearing noise. There have been no unusual noises until now. The sound is a fast buzz and knocking. No other error codes have displayed. Suspect motor or start control problem. Any ideas?
1 Answer Ben, You will need to check the door latch to make sure that it is locking and not hanging up causing the noises. If this checks ok then make sure that the water valve screens are clean and make sure that the water is fully turned on. Read More...
Rick May 05, 2014 for Model Number wm1812cw I have a LG washer that will completely shut down during a cycle then after a couple of minutes come back on like a fuse shut everything off and rest it self. Is there anything in the system that would make it do that?
1 Answer Hello Rick. Look for a bad connection. If none is found, you will need to replace the filter board 6201EC1006T on the unit. If it continues after that, replace the main board. Read More...

Jenn December 14, 2012 for Model Number LG WASHING MACHINE WM2032HW The water has stopped circulating throught the holes where the roller jets are. It still comes out the front (down over the glass) but not on the paddles where the roller jets are. Is there a filter that I should clean? If so, how do I get to it? I can hear the motor and it sounds like there is a "clog" or something.....Help!
1 Answer Jenn, If you've already opened the cover and removed the cap from the drain pump assembly and cleared any/all debris, you'll need to replace the recirculation motor EAU61383518. You'll need to remove the top assembly, and front panel in order to access the pump assembly and repalce the part. Read More...
