Tom for Model Number LG LDS 5811ww I have an LG LDS 5811ww. It stopped half way thru a cycle and now has no power(no lights at all) I check the 120v connection, circuit breaker, and fuse on the circuit board. All OK. I have been reading a lot about the noise filter going bad. Is there any other fuse I can check? Any thing else I can check?
Answer Tom, To test the noise filter you will want to check voltage going to the filter. Check for 120 vac going into the filter and 120 vac coming out of the filter. If there is 120 vac into the filter but nothing coming out then the issue would be a faulty filter which would need to be replaced. The part number for the filter on your unit is 6201EC1006T.
