Rob, Based on the information provided, this issue sounds like it would be caused by a fault in the main control board. It sounds like the relay for the oven light may be shorting out. You will also want to check to make sure that there are no loose or damaged wires that could be touching ground.

Hello Leonidas, The most likely problem of the touch buttons not working would be a bad connection of touch pad 383EW1N006F to the control board or the touch pad being faulty.

Hello, The F-11 fault code in an LG oven could be the control not detecting a temperature increase in the bake compartment. This can be the temperature sensor but if it comes up at the beginning, before the unit even has time to increase in temperature, the issue is most likely the control board. This is of course a wild guess without the specific model number we are discussing.

Hi Ben. Turn the power off. Remove the ribbon cable from the back of the control board. Then reapply the power. If the unit does not turn on then this is one way to verify if the keypad has a stuck /shorted keypad. It is part # 383EW1N006F. If it does come on then you need to replace the control board part # 6871W1N002A. Thank You.

HI George. You need to find the supplied service tech. sheet either in the controls or on the lower inner frame after you remove the drawer. It will tell you the electrical devices resistances to see if they are bad. The volt/ohm meter part # MA-DM1 if needed. You can unplug the ribbon cable from the control board to see if the light goes out, if it does then the keypad was shorted or stuck. Part # 383EW1N006E. If not then you need to plug it back in and see if the burner sensor is sticking shut and allowing the surface light to stay on. Unplug the sensor lead wire and see if the light goes out. If so it is burner part # 5300W1R004A. If not then your control board logic is most likely at fault. Part # 6871W1N002A. Thank You.

Hello Sherry. No, if you replaced the PCB 6871W1N002A and the problem continues, then the touch pad 383EW1N006F is bad and will need to be replaced. Check and make sure all the connections on the PCB are good including the touch pad. Hope this helps.
