Andrew for Model Number RSG307AARS/XAA-0001 Hello, I am in need of some advice please! My ice maker stopped making ice, so I replaced the ice maker and all was good again. Five months later, no ice. Only a little bit of water coming into the first slot of the ice maker. So, I replaced the water valve. That did not help. So I replaced the ice maker again. But that didn't help either. So current status is brand new ice maker, brand new water valve, no frozen water lines...why would my ice maker still not be getting enough water/ making ice? Is it a control board issue perhaps? Water pressure is fine and water dispenser works.Thanks for any advice.
Answer Andrew, It sounds likely that the water valve is possibly not getting power to it in order to open and fill the icemaker. It would be recommended to test to make sure that there is power to the icemaker solenoid on the water valve and if there is not then the control board will be the likely cause for this issue.
