This power control board is a genuine Samsung part, sold individually. This power control board is a replacement part for a refrigerator. The power control board is located in the back of the refrigerator. The purpose of a power control board is to maintain and manage the refrigerator's compressor. If a refrigerator is not maintaining its temperature properly, the power control board may need to be replaced. This type of board has an LED light that will signal if it is not functioning correctly. If this LED light is going off, the power control board should be removed and replaced with this genuine OEM replacement part. The repair or replacement process for a power control board is simple to perform and will require no specific tools. Make sure to wear gloves while performing this replacement for safety when dealing with electrical currents and potentially hazardous materials. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. This power control board is compatible with Samsung brand refrigerators.

Questions & Answers

For Samsung Power Control Board (Part Number: OEM14945724)

April, the blinking light on the inverter would indicate a failure error code. It would be recommended that the forced test mode is activated to identify the blinking LED of the inverter if possible. Otherwise, the inverter can be tested for DC voltage using the connection CN10 at the main control. From the black wire (using the black probe of a meter), DC voltage would be tested at the red wire with the red meter probe for 5VDC and then the yellow wire with the red probe for 12VDC. If the voltage is correct, the main control DA41-00413J has failed. If the voltage is not correct, the inverter PCB DA41-00320A has failed. Unfortunately, the inverter has been discontinued and is no longer available.

Lee, the three blinks on the inverter indicate a possible wire connection issue, a compressor failure, or an inverter failure. If the wires have been verified as being in good condition and if both inverters show a blinking LED, then it would be very likely that there is a compressor MKV190CL2B/ASH failure.

Frank, if there is not a full frost pattern on the freezer or refrigerator evaporator after 2 hours of run time, this would certainly be a sealed system failure if the condenser coils are clean and the condenser fan is operating. Any sealed system repair would require a freon certified individual.

According to Samsung, this is a "Starting Failure". The solution is checking connectors for Invert PCB & Comp Relay Connectors. If connectors are ok replace inverter PCB, if results are the same replace the compressor. Be sure to use the complete model number when ordering Inverter or Compressor if needed.

Gus, Check the outlet first, make sure it's a non-GFCI, 120 VAC, polarized and grounded outlet. Then replace the DA41-00617A/DA41-00617A Pba MAIN; AW CD-Pjt, as on the back of the refrigerator. Thanks,

Steve for Model Number RF261BEAESR/AA-0001

Hi I had my compressor and inverter board both replaced due to a power loss. The fridge (temp) is working fine, but the bottom freezer evap fan doesn’t come on at all. I have checked voltage at the terminal block and get a reading around 3 volts dc. The fan motor is fine as I hooked it up to. 9 volt battery. Also, I now have one solid red light showing on the inverter board which was not present before. No error codes on the panel. Any suggestions?

Steve, " I now have one solid red light showing on the inverter board" indicates the board is operating Normally. The DC voltage to the freezer fan is low" Is the voltage between MAIN PCB Ground J23 JUMPER and CN 76 (Yellow) around DC7~12V? and Is the voltage between MAIN PCB Ground J23 JUMPER and CN76-(White) around 4.5~5V?. First check for loose connections and corrosion on the wire connections, then test the voltages at the main control board. Thanks,

Hello Sandeep, 2 blinks on this brand usually refers to either a failed compressor or a failure on the separate compressor inverter board or on the main board if it powers the compressor directly. Unfortunately the model number given is an invalid model number. If you recheck the model number and repost your question we will be able to supply more accurate diagnosis as well as the replacement part.
