Ko for Model Number #fav6800aww

Have Maytag Neptune model #fav6800aww,it was stuck on bulky items setting only. I washed a load of clothes and it got down to about 6 minutes left in the cycle, but when I returned about 20 minutes later, it said it had 39 minutes left to go. None of the other buttons wouldn't work at all. I messed with the control panel and now I can get bulky, delicates, whites and super wash to work. The only other buttons that work are presoak and extra rise. If you push soil level button it turns off totally.

Hi. It will be advantageous to find the supplied tech sheet inside the cabinet to aid you in the diagnosis. It allows you to put the unit in a diagnostic mode which brings up fault codes and tells you which circuit needs assistance. If you are unable to enter the diagnostic mode, then this all leads to the replacement of the Led Console assy. part # WP25001206. Thank you.

Hi Jim. I would use the digital capacitor Tester / Volt/ohm meter part # MA-DM1 to assist you in repair. Find the inner tech sheet supplied with the unit. Use it to put the unit into the field service test to allow the fault code to come up and tell you which circuit is affected. You may need to replace the console keypad part # WP25001206. Thank You.

Hello Jim, First, I need to know what lights are flashing and in what sequence. This could be a fault code. It could even be in child lock. Shoot me an e-mail and I'll send you a service manual.
