The Upper Rack Adjuster is an OEM part for Whirlpool dishwashers. This part adjusts the height of the dishwasher's upper rack, allowing for flexible loading options and accommodating larger items such as pots, pans, and tall glasses.

Over time, the upper rack adjuster can become worn or damaged due to regular use, leading to difficulties in adjusting the rack height or securing the rack in a desired position.

Symptoms of a bad Upper Rack Adjuster include:

  • The upper rack is difficult to adjust or won't stay in place
  • Broken or worn parts on the adjuster mechanism
  • The rack falls down or cannot be lifted to its higher position
  • Visible signs of wear or damage to the adjuster components

This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper and some Kenmore models.
