Jonathan December 28, 2020 for Model Number DU945PWSB0 Lower spray arm seems a bit loose, but all parts are okay and installed properly. Upper spray arm seems fine. Dishes are simply not coming out clean. Any thoughts or suggestions.

Bigskygirl January 15, 2019 for Model Number DU915PWPB1 My wing nut sheared off. I bought a new one. After repair it is awfully wobbly. I suspect why the wing nut was broken. Am I missing any parts? Do I need a new spray arm? I am not sure.
1 Answer Bigskygirl, you are going to want to check to ensure that the spray arm bearing [WP9742946] is still on the spray arm. It is located in between the spray arm and the wing nut that was replaced. The spray arm should have some play in its movement so that it can rotate freely as water passes through it but should not hit the rack as water passes through it. Read More...

Chris August 23, 2012 for Model Number DP920PFGY3 WHAT MAKE THE TOP SPRAY ARM TURN. HAVE WATER WRIGHT THROUGH TOP SPRAY ARM
1 Answer Chris, Both spray arms rotate, by pressure produced by the wash impeller 675806 in the pump. and the amount of pressure and circulation is dependant on the amount of water in the bottom of the tub. You will need to check the water level( start the dishwasher and let it run for 3 to 5 minutes, unlatch the door, remove the lower rack and check that the water level is in contact with the bottom of the heating element(give or take 1/4 inch). If the water level is low, check the float and float switch, and replace the fill valve if alls OK. Read More...
