Jeff, The hall effect sensor [WP9706648 / WP9703312 is in stock and available. The speed control assembly 9705504 / 9705504, has been discontinued by the manufacturer. There is no substitute for the part available to us, we don’t know of any other source for the part. You may want to try contacting local parts dealers one of them might still have it in stock. Enter your part number in a search engine, a smaller company might have it. Try eBay,Amazon or similar sites . Search by using the manufacturers part number. You could try a used appliance store, sometimes they have the same model or usable part for your machine.

Michelle W for Model Number KG25H0XB5

Hi , I really need your help I have a kitchenaid professional HD mixer. I only used it about 15 times but I did not get the extended warranty. My model # is KG25H0X0B5 Serial # W3391162. The last thing that I made with it was whipped cream. It will not power on at any speed No matter if bowl is in the upright or lowered position. Makes no noise whatsoever. I do not know which part I might need to replace. Could you please help? Thanks Michelle

Brad for Model Number RKT2651XBU

My KitchenAid mixer has a bad speed control board. I ordered part number 9706648 from a different vendor, but it is the wrong part. When I look up the part on your web site it is 9706649, but they look like the same part, or at least the PC board is the same. The one I need has an "On/Off" switch as part of the assembly, and a "P1" connection post on the PC board. These are not there on your replacement part. What is the correct part number? I have had the machine for ~10 years and this is the second time I have had to replace this part. Do you have any ideas as to what is causing the problem?

1 Answer

Brad, The model number listed is not showing up as being good under the RKT2651XBU. On locating the part for this, if you use the KT2651Xww3 model then it will pull up the WP9706648 as being the correct part but will not work for the unit. The KT2651 would be what you would want to look under and would have the correct part number for the unit 9705504. If you pull up this part you can see the terminals on it.

Raymond, Since your mixer is "Pearl Metallic" in color, your mixer should have a black control knob, The speed control assembly would be WP9706648 / 9706648 for the model number you supplied. Thanks

Robert for Model Number KP26M1XPM

I am returning the part (#AP4326099) that I bought from APP because it did not solve my problem. Knowing nothing about mixers, I watched YouTube videos about mixers (KP26M1XPM) that would start spinning on the lowest setting but would then uncontrollably speed up without increasing the setting...then it would would stop altogether. One or two videos indicated that I need a new speed control board. Super easy to install but unfortunately it didn't resolve my problem. Then I bought a new hall sensor (and for the live of me I can't understand how it would make any difference because it is plugged into the speed sensor but the other end isn't plugged in - at least not electrically) at all. Anyway, neither have helped. I am frustrated because I cannot find a fix (and my wife is more frustrated at me because I can't find a fix and just wants to buy a new one - her answer to everything) and was hoping you might shed some light on my problem. I would REALLY appreciate any/all help you may be able to give. Sincerely, Robert Miller
