Peggy December 24, 2020 for Model Number rbd305prsoo trying to find an electronic control panel for my whirlpool electric double wall oven
1 Answer Peggy, unfortunately, the electronic control board WPW10438750 has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available. However, the touchpad WP8304275, panel frame WP8302848, and panel trim WPW10172165 are showing as still being manufactured. Read More...
Noelle November 19, 2019 for Model Number RBD305PRS00 Hi, Double oven Error Code E6 F2. Oven will beep and shut off when not on use. Then come back on with codes. Oven turns on heats up then will beep and shut off with same codes. When it beeps and errors if you open the door the light does come on. Seems the same codes have different fixes. Which part would fix my issues? Control board, control membrane or thermal fuse? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
1 Answer Noelle, Unfortunately, we do not have a matrix to tell you the keypad test to check the membrane. The manufacturer says to replace the membrane and if the problem persists replace the control. You should remove the console to visually inspect the membrane and make sure it is connected good and check for discoloration in the membrane. Also, do all the buttons operate as designed. Can you cancel out when you start a cycle? Any of these issues would indicate a membrane issue. Control would be the last resort. Read More...
John W September 11, 2019 for Model Number RBD305PRQ00 Blank screen. Oven lights work. Push any button and nothing happens but a beep. When I press the start button: I hear dot dash dot dot dot. Help, please.
1 Answer John, You will want to test the transformer in the unit to make sure that it is good. If the transformer is good then this will be a control board issue. The transformer part number is WP9760587 and can be tested by checking for 120 VAC at the p16 connector between pins 5 and 7 for 120 vac and if there is power there then you will test from the p16 pins 2 to 3 for 12 to 24 vac. If there is no power at this point then transformer is bad. If there is power at this point then the control board is faulty. If there is no power at pins 5 to 7 then the control board is faulty. Mb March 06, 2017 for Model Number RBD305PRT00 I have a whirlpool double oven that stopped working suddenly. Symptoms are ... No display, interior oven lights work, neither oven works, pressing any button (Besides light) results in beeping: short-long-short-short-short. Thank You
1 Answer Hello MB. You will need to order WP4456654 if the thermal fuse is bad on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Tom January 08, 2017 for Model Number RBD305PRS00 If the oven controls won't allow us to set greater than 350, but will do less, does this seem like this part, or one of the electronic pieces like a control board?
1 Answer Tom, If the unit will not allow you to move the temp up at all even if you move it down and then back up then the issue would be a membrane switch that will be the issue. If it will move up and down but just only if below 350 then this would be more likely the control board. Read More...
Missy December 13, 2016 for Model Number RBD305PRB00 Ok on your site you have several different solutions for the same error code and I'm confused. E6 F02. Is this a heat transformer issue, a switch membrane issue or control board issue? My display is blank....not lit at all...only beeps when buttons pushed. tripped breaker, have tested all as listed no direct path to take. If it is board...which board? there are two listed under parts? My double oven is black..thank you in advance for your assistance. This is the pits.. We were able to nurse oven through Thanksgiving with display dimming until lights went out completely.... Missy in Texas
1 Answer Hello Missy. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the thermal fuse WP4451042 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Judith W March 27, 2016 for Model Number RBD305PRB00 My control panel temp area does not light up at all and the clock is really dim. Otherwise the control panel works. Is it also the transformer?
1 Answer Judith, With the display being dim and the temp area not lighting up then the issue would most likely be in the transformer part number WP9760587. Read More...
Tracy December 06, 2015 for Model Number RBD275PRB00 Digital display works until timer is set or oven is started, then display fades out and oven will not hold continious heat . What could the problem be?
1 Answer Tracy, First check the voltage to the oven, at the terminal block. Check and make sure there are no loose connections. Then recheck the voltage when you program or start the oven. Sounds like the L1 power supply to the oven/control board is dropping below the minimum and the display is fading and can't produce the voltage to the element to make it cycle. Read More...
