Noelle for Model Number RBD305PRS00 Hi, Double oven Error Code E6 F2. Oven will beep and shut off when not on use. Then come back on with codes. Oven turns on heats up then will beep and shut off with same codes. When it beeps and errors if you open the door the light does come on. Seems the same codes have different fixes. Which part would fix my issues? Control board, control membrane or thermal fuse? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Answer Noelle, Unfortunately, we do not have a matrix to tell you the keypad test to check the membrane. The manufacturer says to replace the membrane and if the problem persists replace the control. You should remove the console to visually inspect the membrane and make sure it is connected good and check for discoloration in the membrane. Also, do all the buttons operate as designed. Can you cancel out when you start a cycle? Any of these issues would indicate a membrane issue. Control would be the last resort. Read More...
