Hi Scott. This pressure switch is mounted on the top inside. It is on the rt. side clipped into the frame. It has the hose connected to it along with the elect. connector. Easily replaced part # WP34001324. While you have it apart, blow back into the tub and see if there is debris or lint stuck in the opposite end. Remember to clean your entire vent system snd the outside vent hood for proper operation so the lint is not being recycled into the wash tub. Hi Charlie. The 3-E code is because the motor tachometer circuit is not being detected. The only way you can repair this is because the motor internal hall - effect sensor failed. The motor is part # WP34001437. Thank you.

Brad for Model Number mah8700aww

I have an Error code on my washer, the error code is OE. When I get this code it is after the wash cycle has completed and it is entering the rinse cycle, the water continues to run and fill up the tub and will not shut off. I was told by Whirlpool that it may be the water level sensor but they did not have the error code OE in there system. If I shut the machine off the water continues to run until I shut the water off, I can then turn the water back on and drain the tub and spin. It does not do this on every wash load, it seems to be about every 3 or 4 loads. I was wondering if changing the pressure sensor would correct this problem.

Hi Brad. The O-E code is a fault is detected in the water level sensor. Water is at the or above the overflow. Use a cold, small fill and advance the unit into rinse so to get rid of the excess soap or lint debris's that may be lingering. This may induce the code also. Supervise this closely and stop the unit as it fills more than the top of the inner tub baffles. The sensor is part # WP34001324. The washer can use washer magic monthly to keep clean. This part # is TJ131. Thank You.

Hello Marty. Test the motor and make sure it is good. Check motor winding resistance CN9 pins 1 & 3=11.6ohms ±7%, Pins 1 & 2=11.6ohms ±7%, Pins 2 & 3=11.6ohms. ±7%. You may have a bad sensor on the motor WP34001269. Also check for loose connections at the pressure switch, motor, and control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps.http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Hello Jeff. First check and make sure the drain hose is not to far into the drain pipe causing the machine to siphon out the water. If it is good, then it sounds like the water valve WP34001248 is the problem. Hope this helps.
