Jay S February 03, 2014 for Model Number MFI2568AES Came home today and water and ice control panel had all light flashing and ice flapper was opening and closing. Power had been knock out by a storm and the temp was Hi inside the unit. Once the temp came back into range the flashing lights and the flapper stopped. Now every time the unit turns on the same thing happens. Disassembled the unit once I disconnect the power cable to the door heaters the unit was properly. The only thing is the water and ice does not dispense.

Michael January 21, 2014 for Model Number MFI2568AES Maytag French Door Came home to find the control panel lights flashing (freezer =flashing 0, refrig = flashing 35, where we normally set unit) but the cube light and the auto light is also flashing and the ice door flap is consistantley cycling (making a pop sound about every 6 sec)... The fridge itself stopped working also... I ordered and changed the Lv control board (AP4080672) and it didn't seem to help, I have basically the same problem... Any suggestions...?

David November 26, 2013 for Model Number MFI2266AEB I had just put in new water filter and was flushing the system and the water stopped. Water and ice will not dispense but ice is still making. When you hit the lever it just beeps. when you try to change temp or anything else it just beeps. Temp lights are on. Door and humid lights are green. All buttons just beep. Tried replacing lv board with remanufactured board but did not fix the problem. Sent it back. Talked to a repairman and he said board could have been bad. He said to buy a new one or try main board. What do you suggest?

Nate G. July 20, 2013 for Model Number Amana AFI2538AES I noticed my Ice/Water dispenser stopped working today. The icemaker is still filling the tray just fine and there are no jams in the chute or auger. Water pressure seems to still be good and the water filter was changed a couple months ago. When I press the lever on the dispenser I hear a quiet click which seems to indicate the lever isn't what is broken. When the lever is pressed the light does not come on and no water or auger noises occur. I would like to confirm that I should be ordering an oem circuit board to replace the one in the dispenser. It's $155 before shipping so I would like to be certain on this choice. It looks like it should be whirlpool part # AP4080672. The replacement appears to be quite easy so I'm planning on swapping it out myself. Thanks for your help.

If you leave the door open for 5 mins. The alarm will work. (3). The green ( replace filter) light remains on, the button beeps but the light will not reset after filter was changed. (4). The ice maker is working and making ice. (6).
