Andres June 18, 2013 for Model Number MFI2568AEQ The display on my Maytag fridge started flickering and the flap for dispensing ice cycling through open / close. I took the cover off and disconnected the one connector on the display board. The flickering stopped and the cycling of the flap stopped, but the ice and water dispenser stopped working with or without the board connected. Any recommendations on which board has the driver and control circuits?

George May 15, 2013 for Model Number MFI2568AES Will never buy a Maytag again, our ICE20 purchased from Home Depot has been a nightmare. Had the infamous flashing lights/ice maker possessed issue with capacitors, replaced using online instructions and Radio Shack capacitors. 2 years later, the condenser fan stops working, and Maytag replaced the HV board as a courtesy, which resolved the issue. A year later, soft ice cream first clue condenser fan not working again. Local appliance repair person trouble shoots and says it's the HV board, which I order online, replace and program - still no condenser fan. Now what?
1 Answer Hello George. Test for power to the condenser fan motor. If there is power there, and the unit does not run, you will need to order and replace the condenser fan motor W11613295 on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Paul April 21, 2013 for Model Number mfi2569vem2 electronic control panel on left door has no power, water/ice dispenser not working. interior lights are ON but fridge/freezer not working. most likely problem?
1 Answer Paul, It's probably best that you start at the back of the refrigerator, at the main control board WPW10310240 with a meter check pin#1(bk/grn) to pin #2 (rd/bk) on the J6 connector on the board with the harness disconnected, No 12 VDC, would indicate a faulty main control board. If you have the voltage there ,You'll want to remove the upper door hinge cover and check for loose connections in the harness under the cover. Then you will need to access the display board, and check for the 12 VDC in the J1 harness pin#1 (bk/grn) to pin #3 (rd/bk) If you have the voltage there, you will need to replace the low voltage/display board 67006294 Read More...
John S March 03, 2013 for Model Number AMANA AFI2538AEB I just read about the 3 second alarm reset. Thanks I just reset and now interior lights and controls are working. I replaced board 2 months ago but panel never worked. Now temps are showing, water is depensing but the ice dispenser wont dispense any ice? What could it be now?
1 Answer John, If the dispenser door is not opening, That would be an issue with the dispenser control board 67006294 and or the motor and switch WP13005701B . If everything works, but the auger motor doesn't run, then we're looking at a faulty main control board W10890094 (on the back of the refrigerator) or auger motor failure 67006342 The dispenser assembly is a low (12 VDC) assembly. The auger motor and other interior components of the "ice box" are 120 VAC system. You have checked for loose connections and proper voltages to the refrigerator, first. Read More...
Joe R January 17, 2013 for Model Number MFI2568AES Water & Ice maker stop working, however a few hours later it stated working again briefly then stop again. Board lights up like normal. Filter was changed about two months ago. I no longer hear the water sounds ruinning in the unit. Is it a board issue?
1 Answer Hello Joe, You will want to pull the filter out and install the bypass plug and see if the water comes through dispenser. If it does then the filter is at fault even though it was changed 2 months prior. If it still does not come through then you will want to look to make sure that the water tank or water lines are not frozen. Read More...
Maria January 01, 2013 for Model Number MFI2266SAE I have a maytag and was getting water when it stop working. The water and ice dispenser lights won't go on and when i push them they just beep and no water or ice come out.
1 Answer Hello Maria. You need to check and see if the L.V. Board is bad on the unit. If so, it will cause the issues you are having with now power. If there is no power coming to the L.V. Board, you will need to replace the H.V. Board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
