This is an oven control board and clock manufactured by Whirlpool. It allows the user to adjust temperature, change oven function, set timers, and more. While the control board is designed to be durable, it can fail over time through exposure to moisture or high temperatures. When the oven control board begins to fail, it will not respond to user input, or may respond incorrectly. Replacing the control board is the only option to restore functionality. To replace it, turn off the power or unplug the oven. Remove the four screws holding the control board in place and disconnect the wires. Install the new board by following these steps in reverse. This is a genuine OEM part. It is sold individually, and fits Whirlpool, Roper, and Amana branded ovens.

Hello Jeff. Check the ribbon cable. If it is good, then the keypad is bad on the unit according to the error code.

Ruth for Model Number SVD48600

I have a JENN-AIR SVD48600 or SVD48600C series. The oven won´t heat; I set is at 350 degrees (or whatever) and it shows in the panel only 100 degrees, but I can even touch the elements and they are not hot. The broiler won´t heat up either. I have had the whole control board changed (very expensive) before and I am hoping that this is simpler to fix and that we can do it ourselves. Could you please comment on this, and let me know what parts to check, and or what parts to buy? Thank you. Ruth

Hello Ruth, You should first flip the breaker to the appliance off and then back on. The issue you described can be caused by a tripped breaker. If this doesn't help, the next step will be to remove the bake element and test for complete circuit with a small amount of resistance. If this is good, the relay board W10757086 will be the most likely issue.

Hello Jose, As best as I can tell, this is a Jenn Air replacement part and it doesn't show to fit other manufacturers' units.

Scott O. for Model Number W30400B

This has been going on for many years, but lately with every use….. Our wall oven shuts its self off randomly… usually on preheat or after it reaches temperature. It will sometimes lock the door and disable input buttons.. Yesterday the lock mechanism would just keep rotating to lock hook (lock then open-lock then open) until I shut off the circuit breaker for a while- then it was quiet.. If you wait awhile- sometimes a few minutes to sometimes 20 minutes you can reset the temperature and the oven may preform as expected… but the other day my wife had to reset the oven over 5 times before it would stay on… I have replaced to no avail: 1- the temperature sensor.. 2- the control board… 3-Relay Board… I have no idea what else it could be….?? Any help would be wonderful… Thank you--SCOTT

Hello Scott. The only part left is the control panel WP71002300. If a button is bad, and it is sensing it being pressed, it can change the unit and lock it down.

Ron, The F3 E2 error code indicates an issue in the oven temperature sensor WP8053344 and / or the ERC/Clock 3195183. The oven sensor should have a resistance of 1050 to 1100 ohms at room temperature. You also need to check and make sure the connectors and wiring between the sensor and the ERC have not loosened, or grounded to the chassis or cavity.
