This electronic control board manages your oven's display, keypad inputs, and heating functions. Replacing a failed board can restore responsive controls, proper bake/broil operation, and reliable timing so your range or wall oven works as designed. What it does:

  • Interprets keypad inputs and updates the clock/temperature display
  • Controls bake and broil circuits via onboard relays
  • Monitors the oven temperature sensor to regulate heat
  • Runs cooking modes and timers
Common signs it may have failed include a blank or unresponsive display, error codes, buttons that don't respond, or an oven that won't start or won't heat. What's included:
  • 1 electronic control board assembly
Install notes:
  • Disconnect power at the breaker before servicing; verify no power is present
  • Handle the board by the edges and use ESD precautions
  • Note/photograph wire locations; transfer any brackets or supports from the original board
  • After installation, restore power and test bake/broil functions to confirm operation

Cameron for Model Number JDS9860BDS

My unit has a mind of its own. The fan turns on and cycle through high, low then off. This happens randomly without touching any buttons. The oven now turns off on its own and will not run for any length of time. I am assuming a control panel is needed but want to make sure I get it right the first time. Also I just bought this house and I am not sure on the warranty with this unit if it worth calling someone or not. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello Connie, You should open the control panel and unplug and re-connect the ribbon cable. If this does not correct the issue, the control panel (AP4369276) will have to be replaced. The control board (AP4507647) is usually not the cause. Most of the time it is the connection between the panel and the board.
