Chad May 28, 2020 for Model Number ET1MTKXQ01 I received a replacement start device(part number 8201769) for my whirlpool fridge model # et1mtkxq01. The original part # was 2212964. The new kit looks nothing like the original one. How does the new relay hook up to the compressor? The instructions said it was to be used with egy60, egy70, and emu60 compressors only. Mine is an emy 60 hsc. Is this the correct replacement and if so how to install?

There are two wires that connect to the old compressor, a RED (L1) wire and a White (N) wire and they are on a plastic plug type connector which I'll need to replace with a different type of connector. The instruction that came with the kit says to connect the RED red wire to the overload. What terminal on the relay should the White wire go to (terminal 1,2,or3?) The old relay/overload has a 12 mfd capacitor for the compressor, do I still need to use the capacitor and if so, which pin on the relay will I connect the cap lead to?
