Gary, With the clean light flashing 7 times then pausing then you would have a issue with the heating circuit. If the light just continues to flash without a pause would be a control panel problem. The heating circuit issue you will want to check at the main control board when the unit is on and when the heater is supposed to be on to see if there is 120 vac going to the heater. If there is not then replace the control board. If not then test the heater and thermostat.

Julie, If all the lights are displaying but the unit will not start when the start button is pushed then you will want to check the door latch assembly to make sure that the switches are closing to allow the unit to start. If the latch is not making then the unit will light up but will not start.
