This line fuse protects the appliance's incoming power circuit by opening if an overload or short occurs. Replacing a blown fuse can help restore power once the underlying issue is corrected, preventing further damage to sensitive components.

  • Interrupts line voltage when excessive current or a short circuit is detected
  • Typical symptoms: unit completely dead, no display or interior lights, won't start or run
  • Fuse tests open/no continuity with a multimeter when blown
  • A blown fuse often points to another fault that must be addressed
What's included: One line fuse Install notes:
  • Disconnect power at the breaker/unplug before servicing; microwaves contain high-voltage parts that can retain a dangerous charge even when unplugged
  • Replace only with the same type and rating as the original fuse
  • Ensure the fuse seats firmly in its holders; do not bypass or jumper a fuse

Don for Model Number GMC305PDS07

Hi - My broiler element stopped working so I bought a new element. While waiting to replace, I had the old one partially out (contactor exposed) and my wife unknowingly turned on the bake cycle. HUGE POP sound from the contact making a connection with the metal over interior, but the main circuit breaker did not trip. So, I replaced the broil element and it still doesn't work. Bake works fine, Microwave works fine, Controls show no error codes - just no broiler... Is there a fuse that could have popped internally or what could be stopping only the broiler from working still? Thanks!!

Hello Don. No, it shorted out the control board 8302320. The board has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part.

Hello Dean. With the error code of door, there has to either be a door switch issue, or a wiring issue. It would be best to check the door switches again and make sure the door latch is working properly on the unit.

Kerry, To replace the fuse you would need to remove the top air grille. Making sure that the power is disconnected you would remove the screw holding the control panel in place. Once the control panel is removed you should be able to access the fuse to replace it.

I have a kitchen aid that is giving me a Lost communications errF6-EO. And the micro wave will do nothing if I clear it out it goes away for a few minutes but it will do nothing the only thing I notice different is when you open the door the button on the right side does not push in like the left side? Again it is just a little safety button so when you close the door it will let you push start so right side is the one that seems like you can not push in not sure if you are not supposed to push this one in tho?

Bob, Here's some information from the manufacturer, "Most "F6 E0" complaints have been due to loose connections and absence of L2 from the house power supply. "F6 E0" code can also result when L1 is not connected. 1. Verify 240 VAC to the units terminal block. 2. Verify that 120 VAC is present between P1 pin 1 and P1 pin 2 of the M/W Appliance Manager. The M/W Appliance Manager board is powered on L1 and will not "talk" to the display board if L1 isn't present at the board. An open fuse to the control or magnetron will also produce the "F6 E0" code. In addition, look for cracks in the M/W Appliance Manager Board, at the corners where the mounting screws pass through the board. If cracks are found, the board will need to be replaced. I think this will get you on the right track. Good Luck and Thanks.
