Note: This replacement icemaker has a plastic tray on the bottom. If you are replacing this part the original icemaker you have to remove the plastic tray from this icemaker so the bracket will connect to hold the icemaker in place

Tom, Make sure the fill tube for the ice maker is not frozen up. Other than that with the ice maker cycling it would just need to be replaced.

Kieran, if the arm is fully inserted into the ice maker motor and will lock in the upward position, the failure would then be in the ice maker W10884390.

Hello Ruben, You should wipe out the ice tray with some white vinegar and throw away the first 4 or 5 harvests of ice.

Hello Mendy, the freezer temp would need to be 0-5 degF, the ice maker bail arm in the down position, the ice maker is powered through the freezer door light /interlock switch with the door closed.
