Hello Kenny. Check the wire going to the igniter and make sure it is good and is not cut, and sparking on the frame of the stove somewhere. If it is good, test the igniter WP9758079 and make sure it reads closed from tip to terminal and it is not cracked. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Dan, You will need to check the spark module, 8 to 18 VDC out to the gas distribution valve, and check the coil resistance of the bake and broil solenoids on the valve 215 ohms resistance between the orange(common) red,(Bake), and blue(broil) wires at the module and valve, with a meter,to properly diagnose and repair your range. Rich, Yes it could be the control head (ERC/Clock) WP6610449 You should check for a constant 120 VAC at the control, on connector P2 pin4$(red wire) to chassis ground when you program a bake cycle to verify the control has failed. Otherwise you'll need to check the oven igniter wire for continuity(closed circuit) and replace the gas distribution valve WPW10293048 , if all checks OK. Thanks and Good Luck.l

Hello John. You will need to test and see if there is power coming to the spark module from the control board. Test pin 7 on the spark module and ground and see if there is 120 volts when in broil mode. Then test pin 6 on the module and ground and see if there is 120 volts in the bake mode. If so, and there is no spark inside the oven, you will need to replace the spark module WPW10331686. If there is no power at the spark module, you will need to replace the control board WP8524251. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Bob, First check for the resistance of the bake and broil coils on the distribution gas valve. From the middle terminal(orng wire) to the red terminal, you should have a resistance reading of 220 ohms. and the same resistance between the middle (orng wire) to the blue wire terminal(with the wires off). you will also want to conduct a DCV test at the terminals with the wires on. Orange to Red you should read between 8 and 18 volts DC when in the bake selection, and the same DC volts Orange to Blue in the broil selection. You may want to allow the unit to attempt to ignite, before you conduct your tests, But I'm sure you will figure it out from here. Good Luck,

Hello Dave. It sounds like you may have a grounding issue and will need to replace the burner assembly 8190618. When the unit does this, you will need to see if you hear clicking, but the igniter does not spark correctly to lite the gas. If so, you will need to replace the burner assembly. If the unit never clicks, you may have a bad control WP8524252 or spark module WPW10331686. You will need to see if the control is sending power to the module for the spark. If so, and the spark module does not spark the igniter, the module is bad. If there is no power, the control is bad. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Hello Al. Check and make sure the igniter is getting into the flame tips. It sounds like there is a grounding issue. Make sure the wires going to the igniter are not cut or pinched between the stove frame. If all is good, replace the spark module WPW10331686. Hope this helps.

Hello JAF. If the oven is not sparking on bake or broil, you may have a bad spark module WPW10331686. There is not way of pulling a code, if the oven does not display one. You will need to test and see if the clock is sending power to the spark module when the unit is turned onto bake or broil. If so, and they do not spark, you will need to replace the module.
