Hello Leslie. If the button are not working and some of them are, then the problem is the control panel 6-919765 and not the control board. If none of the lights or buttons work, and there is power to the control board, but nothing to the panel, then that would be the control board. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control panel 6-919765 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps.

The only button that works on the control panel is the sanitize wash. Pressing start runs through a sanitize wash cycle. None of the other buttons will work. Also I cannot run any of the diagnostics because these other buttons will not work. I am assuming based on other questions and answers here that the problem is probably the control panel. My real question is what would indicate that the control board is at fault? In addition, why so many failures with the control panel? Does the moisture somehow get in and corrode the switches? Thanks a lot.... good site and I like doing business with you guys.

Hello Paul. Yes, based on the information, it is the control panel 6-919765. If it were the board, the unit would not run or light up at all. You need to replace the control panel. Usually moisture and cleaning materials used to clean the outside of the dishwasher cause the problems. Hope this helps.

My unit wont run. Start button will not light up and buttons will not function when drpressed. The only button that seems to work is the delay cycle button when I press it. When i press it "heavy wash" extra rinse" and "heated dry" buttons light up on the display panel but again when I try to drpress the buttons nothing happens with the exception of only the delay cycly button. How do i know if the electronic control board is bad or the control panel itself? I have read other posts on this forum and it mentions doing a "field test" Can someone please walk me through this. I removed the toekick and there is no instruction sheet nor wiring diagram to work from. From a visual inspection with a flashlight looking under the unit - i cannot locate any buttons or anything to preform this "test." Please advise - thanks! Mike

Hi Joseph. Remove the lower toe kick panel and use the tech. service sheet to put it in a field service test. This will help pinpoint the "area" where the fault occurs. The keypad panel is what needs replaced part # is 6-919765. But run the test 1st to see if any more fault codes appear. Thank you.
