Dan January 25, 2012 for Model Number YKESC308LS0 No display. Unable to use any burners. Can do a "End of Service Test Sequence" if I press one of the burner controls and release it in "LO", "HI" position, but if I set it back to "OFF" the power and display goes blank again. When I set the burner to "Lo" or "Hi" the "control lock" then "PF" comes on, I can then do the "End Of Service Test Sequence". Any ideas??
1 Answer Dan, Sounds more like a power supply issue, than a range or control issue. If your power leg (120 VAC) or the neutral leg is dropping out "under a load" (when you turn a component on) You could get erratic displays and strange operations and read outs. You should get an electrician in , and have him check the power supply at the range "under a load" and go from there. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
Rafael January 12, 2012 for Model Number KECR608LSS0 The control board displays properly and responds to commands, but the oven burners are not working at all, replaced power board, hear clicking noises and still not heating, top surface elements ok.
1 Answer Rafael, Based on your post information, you'll need to check for 220/240 volts at the bake and broil element wires, (you'll need to be careful conducting live voltage tests) there could be a broken L2 wire or open in line fuse to the elements causing them not to heat. Everything else sounds proper, based on your post. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
Wilfredo October 08, 2011 for Model Number kesc307hbs0 my top burners work ok, but my oven did not work at all. no light at the display. nothing work.
1 Answer Hello Wilfredo. Test and see if the power board WP9782437 is sending power to the control board. If so, you will need to replace the control board WP9782455. If no power is there, you will need to replace the power board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Sam April 11, 2011 for Model Number kesc307hbs8 When temp on control panel beeps and shows 350, I have a thermometer inside only shows 275 in oven . It takes another 15 to 20 min to be at 325 and flucuates between 310 to 325. Is their a themostat that needs to be replaced or power board that controls the temp?
1 Answer Hello Sam. It sounds like the temperature sensor WP9782081 may be bad. It should read around 1100 ohms at room temperature. Hope this helps. Read More...
