Kim February 04, 2016 for Model Number LER5644JQ0 I just replaced the drum rollers (thanks to your excellent video) and I stretched the back tri-ring on the left roller while pushing it on. While it is in place in the groove, I feel the roller is a little sloppier than it should be. Don't have it back together yet, have a couple more parts to replace, but if dryer is still noisy, would it be that sloppy triangle thing, or should I keep looking for another cause. I am also replacing belt which showed just the beginning of a tiniest bit of fraying, and the foam seal on the lint vent which was deteriorating. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Kim, The ring will not cause the noise since the drum roller rides in a position that actually retains it. This will either be the bearing ring WP3394509 or the idler pulley WP691366 in most cases. Be sure to clean the drum roller shafts if there is any sticky residue on them. Read More...
William M. June 15, 2015 for Model Number It is a Kenmore dryer #70, model #7017601W10 The dryer I have does not tumble to dry. I have tried many places and they all say that the model number does not exist, however that is the model number on the dryer. I also need a lint filter for this model. If you can help me in any way, it would be greatly appreciated.
1 Answer Hello William, Kenmore has had instances where an incorrect number was printed onto the units' I.D. tag. This could be one of these instances. Unfortunately, you will have to contact sears to obtain the correct model number. We are unable to do this since the Kenmore computer system is a closed system we cannot access. Read More...
Rick November 14, 2014 for Model Number LEQ9508LW0 I was hearing a thumping sound from our LEQ9508LW0 Whirlpool dryer, so I ordered from you and replaced the Rear Drum Support Rollers and Idler Pulley. But know I'm still hearing a thumping sound. Can you tell me what else would be still causing that sound?
1 Answer Rick, For the thumping sound when the tumbler is rotating, you will want to check to make sure that there is nothing caught in the blower wheel and also check to make sure that the tumbler is not out of round. Read More...
Robert July 26, 2014 for Model Number le5770xwwo The motor turns on when i start the dryer. The motor sounds like it can't turn, is seized or something, is keeping the motor from moving. the dryer won't turn. What do you think is the problem?
1 Answer Hello Robert, I would start at the blower wheel WP694089 since if something gets into it, the drum cannot turn. If nothing is in there, go in from the front and make sure the drum rollers and idler wheel will all spin freely. Make sure you can spin the motor by hand and while the unit is apart, bypass the door switch and see if the motor will start. If not, replace the motor 279827. Read More...
J Kuritzky June 17, 2014 for Model Number Kenmore 110.61252010 Hi. I've now had to replace the right-hand roller four times over the last four months. They keep wearing out. Any idea what could be causing them to wear out so quickly. I noticed that the dryer is not perfectly level—could that be causing a problem? Thanks.
1 Answer Joshua, Yes the dryer needs to be level in both directions(slightly higher in the front 1/4 inch is OK). You also need to check the roller shafts WPW10359269 and WPW10359270 and spacers etc. to make sure they are clean, not damaged and lightly lubed with turbine oil. Also make sure they are straight and level, if they are at an angle down or up, they will cause excess wear on the rollers. Read More...

Daniel March 01, 2014 for Model Number Kenmore 1108708 I bought a used Kenmore HE3 electric dryer, which make thumping noise with rhythm. Could I replace the support roller to fix the issue? Is this the right parts? Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Daniel. It does sound like the rollers are bad. However, it is best to check and make sure that is where the noise is coming from. Read More...
Chris February 26, 2014 for Model Number Ler764EQ2 My Dryer works and functions well. However the belt comes off the front side of the "belt tensioner "or Idler pulley. I fix it. Then after a few weeks or months. The belt comes off and binds inside the tensioner... Same thing each time. Always towards the front. What parts do you recommend? I was thinking an idler pulley, belt, front bearing felt and seal... Just want to be sure its done right. Thanks
1 Answer Hello Chris. Yes, it sounds like you are ordering the correct parts to repair the unit. You my want to replace the rollers on the unit as well while you are in there. Read More...
