Robert for Model Number le5770xwwo The motor turns on when i start the dryer. The motor sounds like it can't turn, is seized or something, is keeping the motor from moving. the dryer won't turn. What do you think is the problem?
Answer Hello Robert, I would start at the blower wheel WP694089 since if something gets into it, the drum cannot turn. If nothing is in there, go in from the front and make sure the drum rollers and idler wheel will all spin freely. Make sure you can spin the motor by hand and while the unit is apart, bypass the door switch and see if the motor will start. If not, replace the motor 279827. Read More...
