Mike, You could check the module on the front of the icemaker to see if the pins in the big wheel are broken. If they are then you would want to replace the module W10190935. Other than that it would sound more like a bad water valve not fully closing when done calling for water. Sticking water valve.

Larry, You will want to check the water fill on the unit as if it is not bringing in enough water it will cause the unit to have longer times between ice production. You will also want to check your freezer temperatures. If the freezer temp is not cold enough it will take longer to cycle.

Hello Pr. You will need to check and see if the water filter is bad on the unit. If it is good, you will need to check and see if the water supply is good, and if the water valve needs to be replaced on the unit.

Steve, If the water dispenser is working, you'll need to replace the "dual" valve WP2188785, if neither the dispenser or the ice maker is working, replace the "single" inlet valve WPW10498990 , Also check and flush the water supply line to the inlet valve, and replace any in line water filter. Hollow cubes and sputterring from the water fill tube is also an indication of low water pressure.

Yankees, You will want to check the unit for a frozen fill tube. Pull the icemaker out and check to see if the fill tube is frozen. If so then you will need to clean out the fill tube and replace the water valve on the unit.

Cliff, There is a screw underneath the icemaker that you remove. Once removed you will pull the icemaker toward right freezer wall from the bottom. This will release the icemaker from the clips. Install in the same manner.

Hello J. You will need to test and see if there is power going to the water valve on the unit. If there is no power, the valve has failed and will need to be replaced. If there is power, you will need to replace the icemaker. The replacement icemaker is part number D7824706Q. These are not hard to replace and you should be able to do it.
