Jandrh232 March 21, 2015 for Model Number GGW9200LT1 Converted from lp to ng with orifice 42 and limiter cap. Burner assembly diagram show spring and regulator also. Would those have been removed when previously converted to lp (different owner)? If they were removed and I just have the limitor cap installed, what is that doing? What do they do specifically?
1 Answer Jandrh, The spring WP694422 and regulator WP694423 maintain a predetermined amount of pressure on the regulator diaphragm, they must be installed when the dryer operates on Nat. Gas. The limiter / cap WP694424 Holds everything in position, and also works as a vent, should there be a pressure increase or fluctuation that could damage the valve interior components. Read More...

Jon M October 21, 2014 for Model Number Roper RGX5636A I am not getting any gas out. The ignighter glows bright red, but I don't hear the valve open. So then the ignighter is de-energized, and the tub just keeps turning with no heat. Could this be caused by a bad regulator? It's natural gas. I checked that white fuse in the back with a meter, and it is good. Also, on the auto dry setting, it just keeps running, probably because of the no-heat situation. thank you!
1 Answer Hello Jon. You will need to order and replace the gas valve 279923 on the unit. Read More...
