Jandrh232 for Model Number GGW9200LT1 Converted from lp to ng with orifice 42 and limiter cap. Burner assembly diagram show spring and regulator also. Would those have been removed when previously converted to lp (different owner)? If they were removed and I just have the limitor cap installed, what is that doing? What do they do specifically?
Answer Jandrh, The spring WP694422 and regulator WP694423 maintain a predetermined amount of pressure on the regulator diaphragm, they must be installed when the dryer operates on Nat. Gas. The limiter / cap WP694424 Holds everything in position, and also works as a vent, should there be a pressure increase or fluctuation that could damage the valve interior components. Read More...
