Keith March 29, 2015 for Model Number matag-mvwc6esww1 Washer runs thru cycle, at the end of spin cycle it starts spraying water on already spun clothes then shuts off.
1 Answer Hello Keith, This will have to be a control circuit issue so the most likely component causing the issue would be the timer WPW10243947 and electronic control board WPW10104800. Read More...

Eloisa H. September 01, 2014 for Model Number LSR5132PQ1 My washer is a Whirlpool. The problem has something to do with the lid. Once I close the lid to start washing, I have to wiggle it or close it hard in order for it to start washing. And the I have to keep checking on it to make sure it hasn't stopped. If it has I have to wiggle it again until it starts. Sometime I have to make 2 or three trips to the garage to make sure it hasn't stopped.
1 Answer Hello Eloisa! You'll need to replace the lid switch part number WP8318084. Thanks. Read More...
Frank August 07, 2014 for Model Number WJRR4170G2WW I have a GE washer that will drain the tub on alternating washes. The 1st load will be okay but on the following load I have to wring out the clothes as they are saturated with water. I checked the lines for obstructions and found none. When the water is being pumped out of the tub there is a strong flow of water, but unfortunately I don't check the 2nd load, assuming it will be okay. Also do you need a special tool to remove the belt as I am planning to replace the current 1 in the next few days. Thank-You
1 Answer Frank, The issue may not be a clogged drain or drain pump. The issue could be the unit getting off balance on certain loads or something causing the tub to not spin at full speed. If the unit does not spin at full speed then the clothes will be very wet when they come out. You will want to check the motor to make sure that there are no error codes flashing on the inverter of the motor. The tech sheet will have information about the error codes if there are any. Also check the suspension rods to make sure that they are good and properly positioned. For the belt there are no special tools required to replace it. Read More...
Pat July 29, 2014 for Model Number LSR9434PQ0 my washer fills with water and then doesn't advance and I can hear a humming noise. would this be the lid switch
1 Answer Pat, With the unit humming it sounds like the motor would be running therefore eliminating the lid switch. The most likely cause for the issue will be a bad motor coupler. The part number is 285753A. Read More...

Chuck July 08, 2014 for Model Number mvwc400xw3 My lid does not lock. It makes the noise like it is going to lock but does not. The lock light blinks and so does the sensor light, but nothing happens.
1 Answer Chuck, With the door lock making the locking noise but not locking, you will want to make sure that the lid is not warped and if the lid checks ok then most likely the lock assembly is faulty and would need to be replaced. Read More...
