This water level pressure switch senses air pressure from the tub and signals the control to stop filling at the correct level. Replacing a weak or failed switch restores proper filling, helps prevent over/underfilling, and allows cycles to advance.

  • Monitors tub water level via the pressure hose and sends the level signal to the control
  • Stops water flow at the target level so wash, rinse, and spin can begin
  • Common symptoms of a failing switch: continuous filling, overfilling or underfilling, cycle won't advance past fill/sensing, or stops with water still in the tub
  • A cracked, kinked, or blocked pressure hose can mimic switch failure—inspect during diagnosis
What's included: 1 water level pressure switch Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and turn off water supply before servicing
  • Access the switch from the console/top or rear panel per your model; note wire orientation
  • Transfer and firmly seat the pressure hose; inspect it for kinks, cracks, or blockages and replace if damaged
  • After installation, run a fill test; some models may require a diagnostic calibration—see the tech sheet or user manual

For Whirlpool Water Level Pressure Switch (Part Number: OEM20943129)

Moon M for Model Number Whirlpool top load

Can't find model number, washer does not fill up completely regardless of setting Small, Medium or Large. Voltage from the pressure switch to the main control is good and also good connections and OHMs readings. Pressure switch clicks when I blow air to the switch and is opening and closing. I was sure it would be the pressure switch but not not so sure since it closes and opens when air is blown into it through the hose. Could the pressure switch still be bad? The pressure switch has three wires if that helps identify the model number. Found one in your listing but not 100% sure its correct. Anything else that might be causing the water not to fill up? It appears it only fills for small load regardless of setting.

Moon, We would be unable to determine the correct pressure switch without a model number. You will want to make sure that the pressure hose is not kinked or clogged and make sure that the air dome is not clogged. You also will want to check to make sure that the screens on the water valve are not clogged.

Dan B for Model Number WFW8400TW03

Whirlpool Duet Sport WFW8400TW03 front loader washer. Getting F20 error code.Things I've done. 1) checked hot/cold fill hoses, good water pressure, no clogs, inlet value screens appear clear 2) checked water pressure switch, checked continuity per manual, ok 3) blew into water pressure switch, heard 2 clicks, ok 4) blew into water pressure hose, could hear bubbles and air going through 5) Tried Hot cycle, then cold cycle, got F20 on both, usually washer fills up with water ok and then get F20 code, sometimes, looks like it goes through wash cycle and then F20. 6) Don't see any kinks in hoses interal or external, looks like all electrial connectors are connected.

Hello Dan, You will also want to check to make sure that the drain pump is operating. Make sure that there is not a siphoning effect happening where the water just flows back out of unit. Press Pause/Cancel to clear display and the unit will drain for 3 minutes. Verify that the harness connections to valves, pressure switch and control board are good. Check for leaks from hoses. Check the hose attached to bottom of tub to make sure that there is nothing clogged in it not allow water to drain properly.

Hi Cathy. The F1E2 code is MOTOR CONTROL UNIT ERROR. The Motor Control Unit has internal failure. If failure occurs during high-speed spin, the door unlocks after 3 minutes.Possible Causes/Procedure - Verify the shipping system, including shipping bolts and spacers, are removed, and that power cord is out of the washer. - Check if washer is on a dedicated circuit. Other devices on same circuit can create line noise and cause this issue. - Unplug washer or disconnect power. - Check the neutral feed to the MCU and CCU from the AC line filter. - Make sure all wire harness connections between the Motor & MCU, and MCU to CCU, are not broken or with wires detached, and that connector internal pins are visible. - Make sure that all the connectors are fully seated. - Plug in washer or reconnect power. - Verify the washer operation by running the Diagnostic Test cycle. See page 5. - After the diagnostic test has finished, unplug washer or disconnect powerand wait for 15 seconds. Motor control unit part # WPW10384843. Thank You.

Hi Frenchy. You will need to replace the unit pressure switch part # W11417619. Then as you are in there, blow back into the hose towards the tub. If you felt like there were any obstructions, you will need to clean the pump and hoses. Use affresh tablets monthly part # W10549845 to insure proper efficiency. Keep your entire vent and outside working properly so you are not rewashing lint that will clog the washer. Thank You.

Cindy for Model Number MHWZ600TB01 EPIC Z MAYTAG FRONTLOAD WASHER

I am not seeing any error codes just the add garments and everything else goes on as normal, until I press start then I hear a double click from the backside of the washer and the door unlocks then the machine turns off - or it spins over once then unlocks the door and all lights stay on.There is still water in the washer and it will not drain either...... Do you have any instructions to install these parts? If so where can I get them? Which part do you think it could be if either? Could I be missing something to check?

Hi Cindy. Start a new cycle by opening and closing the door to let the control board another load is received.Does the door lock light come on? The door latch switch is part # W11417619. Can you press pause / cancel and the machine should spin and drain? Use a shop vacuum to drain water. If the pressure switch is not satisfied then it will not allow any function. Part # is W11417619. Remove power. remove the 3- torx screws (T-15/20) from the back of the top. Slide the top rearward and up to remove. Then on the front RT. back corner is the pressure switch. Part # is W11417619. Remove the hose. Blow back into it towards the tub. Did you "feel" any obstruction removed as you were blowing? Lint restrictions (plugged vent system needing cleaning) or scum build up ? Washer magic is part #W10549845. Thank you.
