Hello Jennifer. Based on the information you provided, either the pressure switch or the pressure hose is bad on the unit. Blow through the hose and make sure it is not clogged and there are no cracks or breaks. If the code continues after that, replace the pressure switch on the unit.

Hello Jean & Howard, The tech sheet says this about the F20 fault code: If after 30 seconds not minimum 0.1l of water entered or maximum fill time of 13 minutes is exceeded, the valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed. Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display. Possible Causes/Procedure If there is no water in the unit: Make sure that both valves at the water source(s) are turned on all the way. Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged screens in the inlet valves. Verify inlet valve operation. If there is water in the unit: Verify that the pressure switch hose is in good condition and properly connected to tub and pressure switch. Unplug washer or disconnect power. Verify there is not a siphon problem. Verify wire harness connections to inlet valves, pressure switch, flow meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU). Check all hoses for possible leaks. Plug in washer or reconnect power. Verify pressure switch operation. Verify flow meter operation by blowing air through the part and measuring the resistance. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any cycle. I have found that the flow meter fails very commonly. I would be very skeptical of it. As for your last question, the CCU is tested by running a diagnostic test. This is done as follows: Starting Error History, Software Versions, and Diagnostic Test: NOTE: Washer must be empty and the control must be in the OFF state. Close the door. Select any one key (except “Stop/Cancel and Control Lock (EOC)) and follow the steps below, using the same key: Press/hold for 2-5 sec Press/hold for 2-5 sec Press/hold for 2-5 sec Press/hold for 2-5 sec Press/hold for 2-5 sec. Upon release, all yellow/green console LED lights will turn ON for 5 sec. If there are any failure codes stored by the washer the display shows them. Note: the last 4 errors will be displayed. Press the same key to advance to the next code. After the indication of error codes, the UI, CCU and MCU SW version will be displayed. The number of cycles since last clean washer cycle is displayed. All green console LED lights will turn ON for 5 seconds. Next washer begins the automated diagnostic test. To cancel out of service mode press “stop” button.

Hello Renato, If pressure hose is fixed correctly, airtrap is not blocked and hose is not blocked then the issue would be the analog pressure switch and would need to be replaced.

Hello Selam, Error Code F27 indicates an overflow condition in which there is too much water or foam in the machine. Overflow contact on the pressure switch is closed. Check the drain for clogs and that it is not kinked Also check the pump for obstructions or clogs. F35 error code indicated analog pressure switch WPW10415587 failure. Ensure pressure hose is affixed properly, that the air trap is not blocked and that the hose is not blocked. If all this checks ok you will need to replace analog pressure switch.

James B. for Model Number Maytag Atlantis

Hello. I have a Maytag gas dryer. I know the model is Atlantis and that it is about 10 years old. Recently, the pull knob to start the dryer has been harder to pull and activate the dryer. As of yesterday, when I pull on the knob, the lights to the left indicating wet or dry come on, but the dryer does not. When I let the knob go, the lights go out. I was wondering if that problem sounds like the on off knob or switch, and if so, is that something you sell on your website? Thanks for your time.

Hi. Inside the dryer door frame is the model # so we can send the correct part. It sounds like a timer issue. If you have a MDG508... model # then the timer part # is WP37001241. If you have the MDG5000... model # then the timer is part # WP33001624. Thank You.
