Joe August 15, 2017 I bought the dispenser motor about 6-8 weeks ago. The washer is saying the same error again F30. The part worked fine and your repair video was great!! What would make the part "not work" so soon? Could it be something else? Time for another washer?
1 Answer Joe, You will want to check the wiring between the control board and the dispenser motor to make sure that there is not damaged or loose wires and if this checks ok then the board would likely be the issue. Read More...
Bv December 10, 2015 for Model Number Whirlpool Duet Error F30 As suggested replaced the switch Whirlpool W10143586. Everything works. Good. Thank you. However, I took that switch apart, and I believe it is microswitch that is failing after so many years of operation. What are the subassembly part numbers of that switch? I am pretty sure that there is "component manual" exists for it, but where to find one. Thank you
Nancy February 16, 2015 for Model Number wfw8410 I have water flowing out from the detergent dispenser. I cannot find any blockages, and had code f 20. No water at all is getting into the drum.
1 Answer Nancy, This issue sounds like the ports in the dispenser would be clogged up not allowing water to flow properly and causing it to come out of the dispenser area. For this issue it sounds like you may need to replace the dispenser housing part number WP8540058. Read More...
Coe August 16, 2014 for Model Number MHWZ600TE00 Hello, I am concerned about my Tray dispenser. I do have water coming in on the back side filling up my tub but the water will not come through and over into my tray. I will have a little bit of liquid detergent still on the bottom of the tray. I do believe my Bleach bin will fill because I use that and my laundry will smell of bleach. Not sure of the fabric softer bin for i don't use this bin. I am looking at the switch Dis part number AP4365357. Will this sole my problem. Thanks
1 Answer Coe, You will want to check the actuator on the dispenser to make sure that the actuator is moving when the unit is calling for detergent or bleach. Also check the ports in the dispenser to make sure that the ports are not clogged. The part number for the actuator is WPW10143586. Read More...
Shareen August 07, 2014 for Model Number MHWZ600TB01 The machine does not fill with water when I turn it on. Replaced the switch dispenser and one of the wiring harness has been disconnected from the harness. How do I repair my machine. please help
1 Answer Shareen, You will need to check the water valve for voltage from control board to the water valve when the unit is turned on. There should be 120 vac from the control board to the water valve. If there is power then the water valve would be faulty and if there is no power then it will be the control board. Read More...
Jack July 16, 2014 for Model Number mhwz400tqo1 I get a f 21 code I checked the drain hoses and nothing seems to be plugged up. I start the machine and nothing happens. What should I check?
1 Answer Hello Jack. Possible Causes/Procedure - Ask the customer how much detergent they are using and if it is HE detergent. May have too much suds present causing this condition. - Turn washer ON to verify pump operates; run the drain cycle. - Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked. - Unplug washer or disconnect power - Make sure that wire harness connections at the Drain Pump, Pressure SW, & CCU (DP2, PR6 cavities) connectors are not broken or with wires detached, and that connector internal pins are visible. - Check continuity from the Drain Pump & CCU (DP2 cavity) connectors. - Check continuity from the Pressure SW & CCU (PR6 cavity) connectors. - If the continuity diagnosis failed, Main Harness must be replaced. - Make continuity test to the Pressure SW. - Check the resistance of the motor pump. - Plug in washer or reconnect power. - Run the drain cycle. - If the failure continues, unplug washer or disconnect power. - Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects. - Disassemble the drain pump from the washer. - Check that the impeller is not detached from the motor shaft. If the impeller is detached from the shaft, is broken or has any scratches, the drain pump must be replaced. - Plug in washer or reconnect power. - Verify the unit operation by performing the Diagnostic Test cycle. - After the diagnostic test has finished, unplug washer or disconnect power and wait for 15 seconds. Shaun M May 03, 2014 for Model Number mhwz400tq01 The washing machine won't fill when I turn it on and it did not show any code error. Already checked the hot and cold water lines, and they are working fine. So I'd like to know is something wrong with the water inlet valve or the dispenser switch? P S P I just replaced the Control unit.
1 Answer Shaun, it's not the dispenser switch or motor WPW10143586 this part moves and directs the dispenser diverter to the appropriate dispenser (softener, bleach, detergent) and doesn't have a lot to do with the fill. It's a little rare that both fill valve solenoids would fail at the same time, but it is possible. The fact that you have no error codes is a bit strange. but you may want to start at the fill valve WP8540751. Read More...
Mark December 28, 2013 for Model Number 11047511701 I keep getting an F 30 code. The machine will not open the water valves. I have cleaned the dispenser, and the motor controller. Part # w10143586. I opened it up an everything looks good. However, I'm not sure the internal armature is activating the internal switch because I can't see it when the part is closed up. Do you have any suggestion to fix my washer?
2 Answers Hello Mark, You will most likely have to replace the dispense switch WPW10143586. Read More...
