Jenny April 02, 2011 for Model Number MDE6400AYW The knob on the dryer will only turn on the dryer randomly. We have to push in and pull out the knob repeatedly until it finally catches. The knob itself appears to be fine. The dryer works fine once it finally comes on. Does this sound like a timer problem or some other part? I want to make sure that I buy the right part.

1 Answer Hello Toms. You will need to test from the white wire on pin #3 on the sensor board, to the black/yellow wire on the timer.
