Vince December 09, 2015 for Model Number WFW9600TA001 I replaced the main control board due to an original problem with the suds error. I also replaced the analog pressure switch. The washer runs all cycles fine, with the exception of the cleaning cycle . When this cycle is started, the drain pump continues to run, and the cycle will not progress beyond that. So I returned the new Control board, and replaced it with a second. I still have this issue. Any ideas? I can't find a solution this issue anywhere.
1 Answer Vince, You will want to check the following for the suds error: Possible Causes/Procedure If too much detergent was used: Run through a RINSE/SPIN cycle. Run a NORMAL cycle without adding any detergent. This should clear the unit of the excess detergent. Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked. Unplug washer or disconnect power. Check wire harness connections to the drain pump, pressure switch, and Central Control Unit (CCU). Check/clean drain pump fi lter of foreign objects. Plug in washer or reconnect power. Check drain pump. Check the pressure switch. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic Test or any cycle. Read More...
Kass December 07, 2015 for Model Number 4c84400331 My Electrolux purchased in 09 is filling up with water. What would cause that. I can put it on spin and drain and it does drain but it slowly comes back into the washer from the back bottom.
1 Answer Hello Kass, This can be caused by low water pressure to the unit from the home water supply or a failed water inlet valve. Read More...
Scott November 25, 2015 for Model Number WFW9200SQ00 I have a whirlpool duet model wfw9200sq00 showing a f-71 code , i cleaned pump and pluged it in press start and beeps 3 times nothing else lite up?
1 Answer Scott, The F71 is a user interface heartbeat failure. If a Central Control Unit Heartbeat Failure is displayed, no communication is detected from the User Interface to the Central Control Unit. Possible Causes/Procedure 1. Check for continuity of the User Interface harness. 2. Check wire harness connections to the User Interface and the Central Control Unit. 3. Replace User Interface if drum is rotating. 4. Replace Central Control Unit if drum is not moving. Read More...
Dan N. November 22, 2015 for Model Number WFXD5200UC My Siemens front loader is not draining. I took the hose off the rear and cleaned it up and checked for blockage. The machine still will not drain. The pump runs but does not drain and there is no leaks anywhere. Anything else I need to check before replacing pump assembly & can you provide me with a part number?
1 Answer Dan, The part number for the drain pump is 00436440/00436440, the post information would indicate the impeller in the pump has become detached from the motor shaft and is not rotating when the motor runs. Read More...

Craig October 27, 2015 for Model Number GHW9400PW0 after a cycle is complete and clothes are removed the tub fills with water but I cant hear it filling I notice it after about an hour or so later. So then I put it on quick wash and it drains fine. Right now I shut the hot water valve off to see if its the hot or cold water that's leaking back in. This doesn't allways happen. FYI I just last week changed out the door lock set up for a diferent reason Its been working fine till now? HELP!!
1 Answer Craig, You'll need to replace the water inlet valve WP8181694 and hose washers, The water is seeping around the diaphragm in the valve and causing the tub to fill with water when off. Replacing the door latch assembly, has nothing to do with the fill valve, it's just a coincidence. Read More...
Me October 19, 2015 for Model Number WFW9200SQ00 Hello. Our machine appears to be working correctly (no error codes, water makes its way out of machine, etc) but we are getting a lot of water leaking from the large cap on the trap on the drain pump assembly. I have tightened it, even put plumber's tape on it, but still water is coming from the cap. Does this mean the pump motor is going out? a crack I cannot see? other? Your help and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
1 Answer Hello Me. You need to check and see if the filter cap seal WP8181736 is bad and if not, replace part number 280187. Read More...

Bill September 02, 2015 for Model Number 11042822201 Will not spin on spin cycle it will spin with nothing in it.
1 Answer Hello Bill. You will need to check the motor and the motor control board on the unit. Make sure both of them are good on the unit. Also, make sure the belt is good on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
